why sitka will strengthen our relationship

we started today eager, confused, and excited to get the store ready to open

both of us had our own best way of getting things done

while someone was busy looking busy...

i got out the stuffed animals and showed him how it's done!

only kidding, we both worked really really hard today getting
the store ready for our first cruise ship on wednesday!!!

i have to admit spencer's way of getting the shirts ready was quicker than mine

& i may have spent a few hours trying to get a rainbow display look for the nail polish...ok but at the end of the day my man carried in this whole new order by himself and counted it so we could call it a day. we had a really good day today just hanging out and working together, spencer was a little bummed he didn't make it outside for atleast 2 hours today so he's off at the skate park. the weather has been extremely beautiful, no rain, sunshine and just a nice cool breeze. everyone tells me this is NOT normal and not to get used to it! i haven't had to buy wellies or a rain coat yet but i know my days are numbered. spencer and i went to a little restaraunt across the street from our place called "agaves" its famous here for foods of all kinds. we ordered a bbq chicken pizza, and for a mexican joint it was delicious.

a guy from our ward yesterday said "the water here is better than juice" and by the look on spencer's face, it is.
