stay gold

today we didn't have a single cruise ship in port and i totally soaked up the day off. meanwhile spencer dealt with a ton of crap that the store needed, i love that guy. he told me i could take the day off and go hang out with my girl friends from the ward that i met. so danielle met me at the store and we met margo at the cafe behind del sol. we had a delicious lunch then all of us headed off to the coast gaurd park where tiffany lives to watch thier kiddos play and bask in the sun that was shining so beautifully today. the kids played a game of kick ball and i was so jealous, they looked like they were having so much fun, wild and free. i thought a lot about being a kid again today as i was teased for being fascinated with all the bald eagles that flew over head. i like moving to a new place, feeling the innocence and excitement of being somewhere new, learning something new and making new friends. today i love sitka because i feel like a child
